EARTH SHATTERING NEWS!
I was watching some TV late last night (technically early this morning), when all of the sudden (as if these things ever gradually build up...) the house started shaking. Having grown up in Ohio, and not having, really, anything in my memory to compare it to, I didn't even realize that we were in the middle of an earthquake of reported 4.9 magnitude. I suppose "middle of an earthquake" isn't quite accurate... the center of it was over 100 miles away. But still. Weird stuff. I guess now I know what an earthquake feels like.
On a lighter side, Judi found a puppy this morning. Somebody in the neighborhood spent some money on this dog; it's a boxer, and he's well-groomed, and smells like he just had a bath (read: he doesn't smell like a dog.) Apparently (according to Judi) he was just wandering around the neighborhood this morning. So, in the spirt of "I found your dog", if anybody reading this article knows anyone that lives near me that lost a boxer, you have 30 seconds to claim him. :-) More pictures here and here
